Vertical Portal Centres VZP 5A

Production series VZP will be enlarged in the near future by further models in the range of 5 aces/5 sides complete machining. This development was implemented in tight cooperation with the aviation industry. For this purpose a powerful turn/pivot head was integrated which can also be used for fully simultaneous machining.
All relevant elements of the machine, especially stand and portal were changed in construction to enable maximum possible travels when using this head. For machining at 5 sides with fixed head additional fixing brakes with a holding torque of up to 3,000 Nm are used. The pivoting range of the A axis amounts to + 110° / - 95° and is ideal for negative cutting angles which are necessary in the scope of tool and die making.
