The basic bed of the machine consists of a sturdy ripped "Meehanite cast". The whole bed construction is stress-relieved previous to the mechanic process. The machine bed was dimensioned accordingly large. This enables a dynamic capacity of the machine and guarantees a low-vibration run. The supporting elements of the construction were designed as closed cabinet profile construction and offer the highest bending stiffness, thus enabling to process maximum permissible workpiece weights.

The table structure basically consists of the drive and gearing unit. The drive unit is based on a digital AC motor in connection with an automatic ZF gearing. Within the lower gearing level thus torque values of up to approx. 8200 Nm. The force transmission from the gearing to the work table is effected via high-alloyed helical cut cogs. Thus, thismachine is suited for ultra heavy metal cutting.

All operating elements are situated outside of the casing of the workroom so that it is possible to operate the machine without problem and easy at closed workroom and the machine surrounding is protected against chips and coolant. The operator's panel is installed at a swivel arm at the machine. This enables an ergonomic operation and programming of the machine.
