CNC controlled Heavy Lathe DZ

The WEMAS DZ production series is the ideal partner for your production. The advantages of a CNC control on one hand are on the one hand the possibility of easy machining of complex geometries, on the other hand in the machining and rerun accuracy as well as high velocity of the machining steps.

The basic bed of the DZ 1400/1000-12000 CNC heavy lathe consists of a sturdy ripped "Meehanite cast". The whole bed construction is stress-relieved previous to the mechanic process. The machine bed was dimensioned accordingly large. This enables a dynamic capacity of the machine and guarantees a low-vibration run. The bed carries 4 separate parallel guides of the tool turret and the tailstock.

The working spindle is multiply supported and is guided by precision bearings. As spindle bearing only heavy-duty roller bearings TIMKEN are used (straight and tilted roller bearings). This construction enables the highest load-bearing capacity of the spindle and provides for great smooth operation even in case of heaviest metal cutting.
